Raya Insurance is a family owned and operated insurance agency in San Gabriel’s historic Mission District.

Established in 1960 by John L. Raya, the company is a fixture of both the civic and business communities. We support various local charities, and we all volunteer with local non-profit organizations.

We provide both personal and commercial lines of insurance, and specialize in small businesses, medical professionals and nonprofit organizations. Our providers are carefully selected, and offer products as diverse as our clientele. Though based in Southern California, we serve clients throughout the state and have experience with multi-state operations. Our philosophy is simple: to provide the best coverage to meet our clients’ needs.

Agency Principal Jeanne Raya has a law degree and is a Certified Risk Manager. Co-Principal Cindy Uehara has a degree in Finance and is a Certified Insurance Counselor. Each has nearly thirty years of experience. John L Raya Insurance Agency Inc, CA License #0625211 is our Property and Casualty division. R & C Insurance Services Inc, CA License #0630555 is our Life, Health and Disability division.

In business for over fifty years, we provide a unique and superior level of experience. Through our reliable and compassionate service, we form long term relationships. Where We’re Located

Our office is located in San Gabriel’s historic Mission District at the southeast corner of Santa Anita Street and Mission Drive.

Which direction are you coming from?

• North: take Sierra Madre Boulevard or San Gabriel Boulevard for a direct route to the area.
• East: we recommend taking Mission Drive or Las Tunas Drive.
• South: take Ramona Street until you reach the Mission District.
• West: the most direct routes are East Main Street and East Mission Road.

Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
